This page is designed to give you an idea about the costs involved in our classes, workshops and collaborations.
Prices are per hour unless otherwise stated.
When attending a private lessons, you will receive constant one on one supervision and guidance. We aim to help iron out any bad habits so you can improve your ties and make your techniques more fluid and the ropes more beautiful.
In private lessons you will not only learn a form, but every minute detail regarding it. Understanding the tie is more important than learning its form.
The attention to details will make your tying better and the models you tie safer.
We will also assist with body movement and control specific to the ties you learn and the models you tie.
For models, we can help you understand how the rope should feel for specific ties as well as how you can prepare your body to be in them
Fees and Charges
Private Lessons - Jake
Jake only - $150 / hr
You will need your own model for these privates. Jake will be teaching the rigger with this same model.
Private Lessons - Jake and Laced
Jake and Laced $200 p/h
For when model input from Laced is needed and/or more advanced instructions are required for transitions. This option provides instuction for the rigger and their model. You will need to have your own model during these lessons.
Private lesson add on - Laced as model
$70 p/h
Don't have a model but want private lessons? this is an add on cost to the stand alone private with Jake.
Workshops and Group Bookings
We LOVE to travel and share workshops and private lesson options to those around Australia and overseas! If you are interested in hosting us please let us know.
All workshops will be conducted by Jake and Laced.

Performances
Want to book us for a perfomance?
We love perfoming our Shibari at events, festivals and venues feel free to get in touch - we can do short pieces approx 15 min shows but our favourite to offer will usually be aroun 45 min length.
We also offer live performace art for your creative event.

Collaborations!
Do you have a project in mind or a vision you want to create? Hit us with an email we are always open to discussing adventurous projects. Rates will obviously vary for these.
If you require us to come to your venue - 3 hour minimum length, plus travel costs for group booking and private workshops + travel costs (to be negotiated).
However, if you wish to learn the Ichinawa curriculum at your own space (where we come to you), a minimum of four couples is required to get the class rates. Nothing outside the curriculum will be covered in these bookings and they will not go longer than a standard class – 2hrs. Multiple sessions in one day can be arranged. Travel costs apply
